Redstone Rocket w/ Mercury Spacecraft

Q-Men (Chibi, no scale), Réf. 01002

Boeing 747SP SOFIA

Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy

AMP 1:144, Ref. 144-014

The Boeing 747SP (for Special Performance) was Boeing's attempt to give its latest Jumbo Jet ‘longer legs’ and, to kill two birds with one stone, to compete with the wide-body tri-jets from Lockheed and McDonnell Douglas. Carrying ‘only’ 275 passengers over longer distances than the 747-100 on which it is based, the SP is most recognisable for its shortened fuselage and taller, more impressive vertical fin.

North American P-51 Mustang

Tiger Model (Chibi, no scale), Ref. TM109

Following our article on Tiger Model's Fw 190 chibi, here's another new addition to the brand's ‘Cute’ range, the equally famous American Mustang! The Mustang, in its ‘Merlin engine’ version, is not the first chibi of its kind, since such an animal has existed for ages in Hasegawa's Egg Planes range. However, this is a much more modern kit, etched with much more detail than its esteemed predecessor.

Airbus A380

Revell 1:288 Ref.: 03808

This kit, published in 2023, is in fact the third reissue of this model, which entered the Revell catalogue in 2009.

The 1:288 scale is rare, but not unknown for this type of aircrafts with its large dimensions. In fact, even in 1:288 scale, this Airbus is 25.2cm long for a wingspan of 27.7cm. That's still bigger than many 1:72 kits.
